Tony and Alex Jung first entered into a lease agreement with Hereora Development Trust in 1994.
With Alex now residing in Australia, Tony and his family remain at the helm of the business. Tony remains firmly focussed on building his business into a driving force within the national and international produce arena. Over the years Tony has developed on site nurseries, cold storage facilities and logistical support.
These are all great indicators for our landowners that best demonstrate Tony’s passion and willingness to remain as our Lessee for many years to come. We are also aware that Tony and his family strive just as equally to maintain a good local community footprint and provide solid employment futures for local Levin people as well.
As a Trust we certainly wish Tony and his family well and certainly hope this partnership continues to grow and prosper well into the future and beyond.
